There was a recent music video that featured the dude from Boney M although it was from a different band. In it he dances like this but the video explains that he his broke and will dance for food. Anybody know what I’m talking about?
I found it! It is “Turn On The Music” by Roger Sanchez. ( Sorry – I don’t know how to embed ) In it Bobby Farrell does the same routine, but in sad joints like a supermarket and what looks to be a Radio Shack. It’s like he’s on his “A brother has to eat” tour then at the end it quotes him as saying that he is broke but has no regrets. Umm, Kay.

Here it is! So sad!
The guy’s still got the moves, though.

That song has the most metal bass line I’ve ever heard in a disco hit…
…and that dancin’ is scary, yo! It’s like he took all the wrong drugs before he got up on stage and is having the worse seizure of his life…
…or the best, depending on perspective.
But yeah, that bass line would’ve fit well with an early Sisters or Siouxsie tune back in the day.
