How I wish there was a way to make everyone in this country watch this clip. The Daily Show really has been spot on in covering the conventions I think.
Also, I would jump the bones of Jon Stewart in a heartbeat. It wouldn’t even matter to me that he’s only 5′3″ (and that’s saying a lot coming from me).

@AYL: I KNOW! I can usually contain my Dick Morris hatred by just not watching him – which is getting easier and easier, but still. I actually considered failing a class in grad school because the teacher required us to purchase and read a book by Dick Morris, which I could hardly bear to do. Then again this was also the teacher who made jokes about the death of Paul Wellstone…god, it’s a wonder I got through that class without him ending up dead and me in jail.

i remember he had a show on Mtv called “You wrote it, you watch it”. I loved him way back before it was cool to love him. Sigh. Nothing has changed.

@SarahHeartburn: Katie Couric working for the networks = she will never do this. The Networks’ content has historically been controlled by our government’s ideology, both for the news and what they try to pass off for entertainment.
